Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. Reiki.
Reiki is a form of energy that channels Chi (Ki) or life force energy and is around & within all of us. The application of Reiki assists in bringing energetic balance back to the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional levels allowing self healing to occur.
A “Rei-Ki” session can often feel like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, pure love, security and wellbeing.
There are many types or streams of Reiki, eg. Usui, Seichim, Violet Flame, Celtic, Angelic, Faery, Aromatic, Crystal and many more … Each form of Reiki has its own methods and tools but all tune or ‘attune’ into universal energy “one-source”.
During your journey in life, you will walk down many different roads, and as you do you will come across many different things. Sometimes you will choose to stop and “smell the roses” as they say, and bring into your life something that you have previously not noticed or even not been interested in.
Try different forms of Reiki. Feel different energy from different Reiki Practitioners and Masters. You can’t go wrong. You will be drawn to the right energy at the right time.
Once you get a “feel” for a particular “Reiki” and you sense it resonating with you, you may even want to study and be blessed with Reiki Attunements. There is no right or wrong Reiki to choose, It’s all about what suits you and what you “feel” drawn to.
- Reiki is a cosmic energy that balances and harmonises our energy systems.
- Reiki raises our Life Force Energy.
- Reiki is not a Religion. Therefore there is no need to change your religion and anyone of any religious belief can practice it if they choose to do so. It is not a form of psychic healing, mind control, hypnosis or a meditation technique. It can not harm anybody as it only works for the higehr good of all. It is simply a spiritual healing technique.
- Reiki helps the process of evolving self-consciousness.
- “Universal Life Force Energy” is the source of Reiki. You/we are are simply a channel to the Universal Life Force Energy Reiki is Divine. One Source.
